We have just crossed over into the transition month of Iyar which is the hinge month between Passover and Pentecost. The Passover month of Nisan has been a month of great momentum and accomplishment in 5771. A month where Judah goes first and the roar of the lion is released as His people arise to war against their enemies and cross over into the new territory that the Lord has given them.
At the gateway to this month, Watchman Intercessor Network partnered with Birmingham House of Prayer, led by Deborah Porter-Smith, on April 1st to gather the watchmen from across the Midlands region to awake and arise in prophetic declarations and prayer. A connecting of prophetic watchman movements across the Midlands region is emerging as BHOP, WIN & intercessors from Junction 28 church are seizing opportunities to put a stake in the ground and stand in a place of watching and warring for the the UK and other nations. What was ignited back in February with the visit of Anne Tate from Glory of Zion International, USA is gathering momentum in this season so that a “triumphant reserve” begins to move together as one, releasing His voice into the nation and standing in the gap to see the Kingdom of God advance. BHOP and WIN then partnered with Gwen Radford’s team at Junction 28 church to gather watchman for the Battle of Britain prayer event on Saturday 30th April. This was another strategic time convened to shift the nation into God’s purposes and to call for the Church to awake and arise. It is not coincidental that in this month, we have also witnessed a significant Royal Wedding which heralds a new season for the United Kingdom. Nisan has truly been a crossing over month where freedom, deliverance and new territory is our portion.
